We found this great place on our way through NE and loved the great home made food. The pies our out staying!!! Friendly staff and great choices. We stopped again when we drove through NE on our way home.

We stopped here on our way out of town after the Nebraska State Fair. Our party of 9 was seated promptly, and although service as a bit slow, overall we enjoyed our experience. Our table ordered a bacon and cheese omelet, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, sausage hash, French toast, and eggs and sausage. All of the entrees were delicious, however, the coffee was pretty terrible. There's nothing fancy going on here, but if you want a simple, straightforward delicious, breakfast at a great price, this is the place for you.

Stopped here on the advice of a local. Clean, friendly, but the chicken fry is the same processed tasteless frozen Brick from a Sysco truck. The waitress recommended the "good" burger Homemade patty over the "bad" frozen patty. Why even have a "bad" patty? One thousand miles across the heartland, teeming with fresh corn, tomatoes, walleye, etc., why must America be fed from a freezer?

My wife and I went for the breakfast buffet. The eggs on the buffet were green. They get that way from sitting in the steam table too long. I waited for the cook to bring a fresh pan, but when he did he dumped the new eggs on top of the old green ones. The lady in the kitchen had no hairnet nor was her hair tied back. Our server walked out of the kitchen to our table eating. The habits of the staff led me to believe that the food handling training is non existent when it come to public safety.

Some damn fine fried chicken is still going on here. If you're lucky you can hit it up when they serve it all-you-can-eat/buffet style--but it's not like the wack buffets like you might think, it's basically just a small set up with the chicken (sometimes ribs) mashed potatoes, 2 gravies, vegetables. Small salad bar too, with pudding (!) Like the food at a mini-family reunion, if ya put it together in a cafe. And your whole damn family Wasn't there. Unlimited drink refills which come round often from friendly waitresses. Home cookin.

I've learned not to trust Yelp when it's about a small town and few reviews, but this time was great! Pam's is down home -- simple in every respect. We went in just before official closing time on a weeknight and they were perfectly willing to serve us dinner -- and very generous drinks. Sandwiches and salads we had were excellent. The service was great, the people friendly. This is the best of local simple food.

Gotta say for a dive this place was great! Super fast service and the food was very good! My son and I had buffet and my wife ordered her breakfast off the menu. Really a good breakfast.
